It upsets me to think that people see the Christian Church as irrelevant. I’m not blaming culture. In fact I’m doing the opposite. I feel that at times, the church and its leaders owe the world an apology for failing to do what is commanded by Jesus himself: “Go make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28). I understand this command or commission to say that we are to share the good news of faith with everyone. But somewhere along the way that message became irrelevant and lacks meaning to many.
I’m not claiming to have all the answers. I am merely a young pastor trying to share with others something I believe to be very relevant: FAITH. In this blog I intend to share my thoughts about many topics concerning Christian faith, culture, and the Church. With a side of my humor!
I am a pastor within the Presbyterian Church (USA) but more importantly, I am a follower of Jesus who is trying to make sense of the world, just like everyone else. I welcome your comments and thank you for taking the time to consider my thoughts.

Patrick,
This is some really interesting stuff you have here. Wish I had known about this before now. I am really proud of you and all that you have accomplished. Keep up the good work. May God continue to bless you and watch over you.
Peace,
Joey
It is interesting and it’s something that I am just learning as I go. I think that is all we can really do. The culture constantly changes but if we are willing to take time to listen to our youth, we are doing more than most!
